WILLIAMSBURG, Mass. (WWLP) – A craft brewing company that has called Framingham its home for eight years is packing up and moving west, to a location in Williamsburg.

Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company has brewed beers on draft and available in cans to go such as Goody Two Shoes, The Cat’s Meow, Hair Raiser, Briefcase Porter, Just A Kitten, Weights & Measures Barleywine, Panda Punch Kettle Sour, and Right to Farm: Northeast Pale Lager.

They were unable to open their Beer Garden on Waverly Street in Framingham this year due to “circumstances beyond our control”, according to their website. On Monday, the company announced on Facebook due to the pandemic and licensing challenges, they were unsuccessful in opening the beer garden or patio.

“Although we are sad to say goodbye to where we initially laid our roots, we could not be more excited for what is to come! The Williamsburg facility boasts incredible New England charm, the details of the craftsmanship in the building setting it apart from any other in the area. Not only does it have indoor and outdoor spaces for both public and private events, it also has a beautifully landscaped patio for a beer garden. It is both quaint and breathtaking at the same time. We look forward to opening our new Williamsburg location soon,” in a statement made on the Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company ‘s Facebook page.

The taproom is closed in Framingham as they transition to the Williamsburg facility. They plan to have indoor and outdoor space, comedy shows, beer dinners, live music, and artisan markets, among others at the new location. The opening date has not yet been announced.
