Big E job fair held at Storrowton Village

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – With 31 days left until The Big E, the Eastern States Exposition hosted a job fair Tuesday to make sure there’s enough staff to help make the fair fun and enjoyable for everyone.

“It’s an opportunity to be out here and just have experience of the Big E for my first time. Just really get that full experience of carnival rides and everything, the atmosphere, and seeing about different states. Working is a great opportunity just to have a good experience for work and community in Springfield and just have some extra cash as well,” said Antonio Davis, a job applicant.

The Big E is one of the largest fairs in the Northeast that provides hundreds of thousands of people with unique food, concerts, and entertainment.

“I see a lot of people, nice people to talk to having a good time with the kids and animals. It is really nice out here people need to come out here more often,” said Curtis from Springfield.

This well-known 17-day fair runs from September 13th to the 29th. Tickets are currently on sale and it will increase on September 11th.
