Emerson Road in Longmeadow reopens after water main break

LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Emerson Road in Longmeadow is back open after a water main break shut it down this afternoon.

According to Longmeadow Police, a water main broke around 2:30 this Wednesday afternoon, causing Emerson Road to be closed. When our 22News crews arrived, we could see a hole in the ground and crews working to fix it.

It’s still unclear what caused the main to break.
