    Two people missing in Connecticut after being swept away in flood waters

    OXFORD, CT. (WWLP) – Crews in Oxford are looking for two people who were swept away by flood waters on Route 67.

    What to know as Connecticut’s tax-free week begins

    First Selectman George Temple said that one person was inside a car and the other was trying to hold onto its side when they were swept away. They remain missing at this time.

    Oxford saw 10 inches of rain in about 12 hours.
