Auction planned for merchandise left at 4RUN3 in East Longmeadow

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – All of the merchandise left from 4RUN3, the running shop operated out of East Longmeadow, will be auctioned off next week.

4RUN3 closed down in May after posting online that they had gone bankrupt. Controversy ensued afterward when five local nonprofits took legal action. The nonprofits- the Smile Like Jack Memorial Fund, SMOC Open Pantry Community Services, Hampden County Bar Foundation, Miles for Mary (STCC) Foundation, and the Junior League of Greater Springfield claim to be owed nearly $30,000 in total.

The groups said that the donations were for charity races 4RUN3 was supposed to host for them, but never gave them that money. Now, an auction has been announced to sell off any gear or equipment that was left in the store when it closed.

The auction will take place online and at the actual store at 78 Center Square, East Longmeadow on August 28th at 11:00 a.m.
