Video captures lightning strike tree at Longmeadow police headquarters

LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – The Longmeadow police shared a dramatic video of a lightning strike outside their headquarters.

This happened one week ago when a series of strong thunderstorms rolled through the area. In the video, you can see that bright flash then smoke and debris fall from the trees. The tree was severely damaged and was later removed by the DPW.
