SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Dakin Humane Society is waiving the adoption fees for all dogs over a year old through Saturday.

The animal shelter featured a picture of Marley, a one-year-old cattle dog mix, on its Facebook page in hopes of finding him a new home. Dakin says that Marley is high-energy and needs a home with plenty of physical and mental exercise. He also knows some basic commands like sit, lay down, and shake.

Marley has lived with kids and cats, so he might fit right in! Plus he is crate and house-trained.

If you are looking for a companion, see all the animals available for adoption online and visit Dakin Humane Society at 171 Union Street in Springfield on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
