Richmond, VA – Virginia commuters should brace for significant traffic delays on I-95 this weekend due to a bridge replacement project. The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) announced that the work will affect both northbound and southbound lanes at mile marker 74 near Broad Street. The project is set to begin Friday at 8 p.m. and continue through Monday at 6 a.m.

Burks departed amid questions about her use of a city credit card and after she’d been named in a whistleblower lawsuit. According to reports by the Richmond Times-Dispatch, the spokesperson had thousands of dollars in back charges — and had her card suspended by the city in 2023.
