CASPER — Earlier this year, the Wyoming Community Development Authority released a report on housing, or lack thereof, across the state. It found that from 2021 to 2030, the state will need to add 20,700 to 38,600 housing units to meet demand.

Between 2010 to 2021, the median rent in Wyoming increased by 32%. During the same period, however, the median renter’s income only rose by 18%.
