Yadkin Commissioners approve fire dept. reimbursements

During the February 5, 2024 Board meeting, the Yadkin County Board of Commissioners approved an increased reimbursement rate for fire department dual band radios and turnout gear to $4,800.

Also approved during the meeting was a budget amendment increasing tax revenue and expenses for the Towns of Boonville, Jonesville, and Yadkinville; and a budget amendment allocating insurance payments to vehicle maintenance lines for Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Services.

The board appointed Dustin Renegar to replace Grant Joyner on the Lone Hickory Fire Department’s Relief Fund Board.

The also authorized the County Manager to present a contract amendment with Abatemaster for additional abatement activities at 102 E. Elm St.
