    2 adults, 4 juveniles hurt in Yakima County car crash Saturday

    YAKIMA CO., Wash. -- Six people were hurt after a car crash near Union Gap Saturday evening.

    Washington State Patrol responded to the call for help around 5:45 p.m. on Saturday on Interstate 82 just one mile east of Union Gap city limits.

    Officials said a Chevrolet Tahoe was driving eastbound near milepost 38 before leaving the roadway and rolling, ultimately hitting a Subaru Legacy that was traveling in the westbound lanes. At this time, it's unknown why the Tahoe driver left the roadway.

    WSP said both vehicles are totaled.

    According to WSP, the Legacy driver and all five occupants in the Tahoe were taken to area hospitals to be treated. Their current conditions are unknown.

    The cause of the crash is still under investigation but officials said drugs and/or alcohol were not involved.
