NASCAR Cup Series driver Erik Jones.

Erik Jones now knows where he'll be driving in 2025.

According to the team, the 28-year-old will remain with Legacy Motor Club through the end of the 2025 season "and beyond."

2025 will mark Jones' fifth season with the team after signing on to drive the No. 43 car in 2021. Jones' lone win with the organization came in the 2022 Southern 500 at Darlington.

2024 has been a step down in performance for Jones and Legacy as a whole, as Jones sits 28th in points after the first 23 races of the season. Jones' teammate, John Hunter Nemechek, currently sits 32nd in points, ahead of only two full-time drivers.

If Jones wants to get back to victory lane anytime soon, Legacy must find a way to start bringing capable cars to the racetrack. The No. 43 hasn't finished inside the top 10 since the season-opening Daytona 500 on Feb. 19, and with only three races remaining in the regular season, Jones will need a win to make the 2024 playoffs.

The good thing for Jones? He finally has long-term job security, an asset that felt flimsy at Joe Gibbs Racing and was proven so in 2020 when it was announced that Christopher Bell would replace him. With a contract on the books for the future, Jones and Legacy can focus on improving their cars and returning to victory lane.
