    Jordan Love.

The Green Bay Packers are no strangers to MVP quarterbacks.

From Bart Starr's MVP season to the seven between Brett Favre (three) and Aaron Rodgers (four), the Packers are known for excellent play from the quarterback position. Some may call it luck, but with the rise of Jordan Love last season, it seems the Packers are ready to continue that trend.

Many NFL franchises have never seen an MVP quarterback, so it may seem a bit unfair that the Packers apparently stockpile them. It may seem even more unfair to rival fans in the NFC North if Love followed in the footsteps of the greats before him, but that's exactly what FOX Sports talking head Colin Cowherd is predicting will happen in 2024.

Cowherd dropped five bold predictions for the 2024 NFL season, and Love winning the NFL's MVP award was among them.

    The reasoning?

"First of all, the last 10 starts last year...he was the best quarterback in football," Cowherd explained. "Also, I think there's voter fatigue with Lamar (Jackson), Josh Allen, Aaron Rodgers, (Patrick) Mahomes winning MVP. We want a new story. The media likes stories. He's fresh, he's fun."

Love may be "fun", but he's also extremely talented. He threw for 4,159 yards and 32 touchdowns last season with just 11 interceptions. As Cowherd mentioned, he had a streak at the end of the season that saw him throw 18 touchdowns compared to just one interception while leading the Packers to the playoffs. He also went off on the Dallas Cowboys in the wild-card round, throwing for 272 yards and three touchdowns in a massive playoff upset win on the road.

Of course, there's also the team around him, coached by an innovative play-caller in Matt LaFleur and chock full of young talent. Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Christian Watson and tight end Luke Musgrave (not to mention backup TE Tucker Kraft) make up one of the best young pass-catching units in the NFL, and the Packers added all-pro running back Josh Jacobs in free agency this offseason.

"Last year, their offense at the end of the year was like, 'Woah, what do we got here?'" Cowherd said. "Young quarterback generationally aligned with all his young receivers and tight ends in alignment, I think this offense is magic this year."

It has to seem like deja vu for Packers fans to see their quarterback once again mentioned among the best of the best in the league, but that's just how they roll in Green Bay.

If Love can continue to play like he did in the second half of 2023, he's absolutely an MVP candidate.
