    Josh Allen.

Despite a booming quarterback market, Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen isn't feeling insecure about his paycheck.

This offseason, multiple QBs including Jacksonville's Trevor Lawrence (five years, $275M) and Green Bay's Jordan Love (four years, $220M), signed mega deals. According to Spotrac, Allen now ranks 13th in the league in average annual salary ($43.005M). He doesn't plan to ask for a raise, though.

"Listen, everyone is going to have their day," Allen said Tuesday, per Nick Veronica of WVIB-TV in Buffalo. "I'm happy that everyone is getting what they're worth, right? I think as the game progresses and guys keep getting paid, the market is the market. And I've got no problem with where I'm at right now."

Allen probably realizes asking for more money would further complicate the Bills' cap situation. The 28-year-old already has the team's highest cap hit ($30.356M). Buffalo also incurred more than $31M in dead money when it traded star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in April.

Allen could also be trying to follow the same path as his rival, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. Rather than asking for new deals, the three-time Super Bowl champion typically restructures his contract. This makes it easier for the Chiefs to maneuver the salary cap and build a strong roster.

This offseason, Allen agreed to revise his contract, freeing up $16.7M in cap space, via ESPN's Field Yates. The Bills weren't in a position to make a splash in free agency, but Allen could do this again next offseason, which should allow the team to splurge.

The strategy may help Allen hoist his first Lombardi Trophy. The two-time Pro Bowler is still in his prime and has finished top-five in MVP voting three times over the past four seasons. He may just need one more piece to get over the hump in the postseason.

If Allen leads the Bills to their first Super Bowl title and continues to play at an elite level, he should earn another massive payday at some point.
