A general view of Michigan Wolverines helmets.

In order for new Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore to continue the success of the Jim Harbaugh-era — which culminated in a national championship — he has to first replicate Harbaugh's success on the recruiting trial.

That's how championship rosters are built, and so far so good for Moore. He currently has the No. 12 ranked class in the nation, and it just got bolstered by a big-time commitment. Andrew Marsh, four-star wideout from Fulshear, Texas, committed to Michigan over Washington, Texas, USC and Colorado.

That's a massive recruiting win for Moore and the Wolverines, and it sounds like Marsh is already locked into the goal of helping the Wolverines maintain their championship aura.

"Coming to start a new chapter for Michigan football," he told Hayes Fawcett regarding his commitment to the Wolverines.

He expanded on that with EJ Holland of On3, saying, “The people, the history, the reputation and the ability to get to the next level are reasons why Michigan has always been up there."

Beating out the competition of Texas and Washington, specifically, is a big deal for Michigan because both of those programs are competing at a championship level right now. USC has a great recruiter in Lincoln Riley, and let's not forget about "Coach Prime" over at Colorado.

However you slice it, this was an impressive recruiting win for Michigan.
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Marsh is the No. 9 wideout in the 2025 class.
