Jason and Travis Kelce make big move regarding ‘New Heights’ podcast

Jason and Travis Kelce won’t have to worry about money anytime soon.

In addition to their NFL fortunes, the brothers signed a lucrative new contract with Amazon’s Wondery to produce their “New Heights” podcast. The deal is worth more than $100M and runs for three years, according to Variety.

The show will have an ad-free version for Wondery+ subscribers, and all streams, videos and licensing for the show will now be hosted by Wondery.

“We couldn’t be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of ‘New Heights,’” the brothers said in a statement.  “…Wondery understands the shared vision and will offer a wealth of experience and resources to take us to ‘New Heights!’ We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership. We are thrilled to start Season 3 — see you soon, 92%ers!”

Wave Sports+ Entertainment, which also produced various other popular podcasts featuring sports media personalities like Philadelphia 76ers star forward Paul George and former ESPN radio host Bomani Jones, will keep providing production services for the show, according to Variety.

Landing “New Heights” is a huge coup for Wondery, a podcast network and publisher under the Amazon umbrella, as the show is currently the fourth-largest podcast in the U.S. behind “The Joe Rogan Experience,” “Crime Junkie,” and “The Daily,” according to Edison Research .

“New Heights” now gives Wondery three podcasts ranked in the top 10 along with “Smartless” and “Morbid.”

Travis is heading into his 10th NFL season, all with the Kansas City Chiefs. The nine-time Pro Bowler is a mainstay in tabloids thanks to his high-profile romantic relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift.

Jason retired from the NFL this offseason after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. The seven-time Pro Bowler signed on to join ESPN’s “Monday Night Countdown” in April.
