San Diego Padres starting pitcher Joe Musgrove.

Our hot streak came to an end on Tuesday with a 1-2 mark in strikeout props , but we're still 12-6 in our last 18 plays. Let's get back on track with our three favorite K props for Wednesday's MLB slate.

Luis Castillo over 7.5 Ks (-104 FanDuel )

Rays at Mariners, 4:10 p.m. ET

The Tampa Bay Rays have been abysmal against right-handed pitching of late. Tampa Bay has the highest strikeout rate (33.8 percent) and the second-lowest OPS (.599) against righties over the last week. Castillo has gone over this line in three of his last four starts, and he has an impressive 32.4 percent K rate against current Rays hitters in his career. In a matchup this juicy, Castillo could reach double-digit strikeouts on Wednesday.

Carlos Rodon under 5.5 Ks (+122 FD)

Yankees at Nationals, 6:45 p.m. ET

Rodon has gone under this line in two straight starts, and that's concerning because both games came against easy matchups in the Detroit Tigers and Colorado Rockies. Now he has to improve on that strikeout count against a much tougher matchup? We don't think so. The Washington Nationals have the third-lowest strikeout rate (16.4 percent) against lefties over the last two weeks, and Rodon has never been great against this lineup. In limited action against the New York Yankees southpaw, current Nats hitters have a 16.8 percent K rate.

Joe Musgrove over 4.5 Ks (-128 FD)

Padres at Cardinals, 7:45 p.m. ET

Musgrove has been steadily improving since his return to the rotation earlier this month. He went from one strikeout in his first start back, to six strikeouts in his second start, to nine Ks in his most recent start against the New York Mets. Musgrove now ranks in the 75th percentile in whiff rate (28.5 percent) this season, and his workload is only going to increase. He should keep it rolling against a mediocre St. Louis Cardinals lineup.
