A new café — serving smoothies, crepes and more — is coming to downtown Yardley.

Crepeberry, owned by local couple Sammy and Jasmine Khan, is hosting a grand opening this weekend to introduce the family-owned eatery to the community.

“There’s a lot of people here who love eating healthy, so I think people deserve to have something like this,” Sammy said.

Located in the Yardley Town Center on South Main Street, the café takes the place of SoBol, which closed in early July, just shy of three years since it opened.

“It has been an amazing few years, and we have loved being a part of the growth story here in Yardley. However, we felt the store would best serve the community under someone else’s direction and have decided to transition it to a new owner and brand,” the SoBol franchise operator wrote in a Facebook post announcing the store’s closure.

“We are happy to share the good news that a new brand will open soon. You can continue enjoying fresh smoothies, bowls, and even more great foods right here.”

The new shop will feature recipes created by Jasmine, who looks forward to providing many healthy options to choose from, including vegan-friendly bowls that are all dairy- and gluten-free.

The café offers indoor and outdoor seating. Takeout is also available with the option to order ahead online or by phone.

When will Crepeberry in Yardley open?

Crepeberry debuts Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20, 8 a.m.-9p.m. both days. In celebration of its grand opening, the shop will be giving away free kid-sized acai bowls with any purchase, both days.

Following its launch, Crepeberry will be open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.
