Flooding causing damage near small Arkansas towns | What we know so far
YELLVILLE, Ark. — Considerable rainfall has led to flash flooding across the Natural State, with some of the heaviest reports coming from Marion County in north Arkansas. Sections of MC 8060 are impassible at the Moccasin Creek Bridge and multiple streets in Flippin and Yellville are currently flooded, according to the county's Arkansas Office of Emergency Management.

Gassville City Council to vote on 2 ordinances concerning water customers
The Gassville City Council will take up a fairly busy agenda during its regular July session Tuesday evening at 6. Unfinished business includes the final readings of two proposed ordinances. One establishes separate deposit amounts for water customers owning, renting or leasing in the city and for other purposes, and the other sets the due date for water/sewer service billing and the disconnect date for bills that are past due. The council will also hear an update on properties being considered for condemnation.
