    Local college students named to spring 2024 Dean's List

    Fifteen local students were named to the spring 2024 Dean’s List at their respective colleges. Erin Mitchell of Roy took home Dean’s List honors at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, and Chady Wah of Yelm earned Dean’s List honors at Northwest Technical College in Bemidji, Minnesota.

    In addition, 13 students from Yelm were named to the spring 2024 Dean’s List at the University of Washington:

    Brooke Mercedes Lee, junior

    The University of Washington also announced its winter 2024 Dean’s List honorees, with 13 coming from Yelm:

    To qualify for the Dean’s List at UW, a student must have completed at least 12 graded credits and have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (out of 4).

    To obtain Dean’s List recognition at Cedarville University, a student must earn a 3.75 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours. To be eligible for the Dean’s List at NTC, students must enroll in at least 12 credits and earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher for the semester.
