FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The last day of the Three Rivers Festival started Saturday with the 9th annual 3Rivers Federal Credit Union: Pedal, Paddle, Play. FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) - A mostly cloudy and dry finish to the weekend with highs in the low 80s. Some unsettled weather will work into the region next week. There could be a couple areas of patchy fog this morning, so be cautious on roadways and especially rural and low-lying areas of changing visibilities. By the mid-morning hours, things look to clear up as fog dissipates. Skies look to be mostly cloudy with a few breaks in the clouds likely today. Temperatures will be similar to Saturday, rising into the low 80s for highs. Thanks to high pressure to the southwest, it will be another dry day and winds will be on the lighter side.

MUNCIE, IN—The Indiana Department of Education recently announced plans to significantly redesign Indiana’s high school diplomas solely as the “GPS Diploma” and “GPS Diploma Plus” starting with the Class of 2029 (this upcoming academic year’s eighth graders). This would completely erase the General, Core 40, Core 40 with Academic Honors and the Core 40 with Technical Honors.
Indiana Attorney General Leads 17-State Coalition Defending Ex-Brownsburg Teacher's Religious Rights Against Pronoun Policy
Attorney General Todd Rokita is forging an alliance with counterparts in 17 states, taking a stance on what he views as the protection of religious liberty in the workplace. The case centers around John Kluge, a former Brownsburg High School teacher whose resignation was prompted by the school's demand he adhere to using the preferred pronouns of transgender students, a requirement conflicting with his personal beliefs. According to an official report from the State of Indiana, Rokita and the other attorneys general are urging the 7th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals to overrule a lower court's decision which held that accommodating Kluge's religious convictions posed an "undue hardship" for the school.
