York State Fair: Halestorm, with Red Lion roots, to perform tonight; other things to do

Saturday is the ninth day of the York State Fair .

Here's what there is what to see today:

Halestorm/I Prevail to perform on the grandstand

Halestorm/I Prevail along with Hollywood Undead and Fit For A King will perform on the Bobcat of York Grandstand Stage.

The concert is set for 6 p.m. Saturday.

Halestorm has roots to Red Lion. Lzzy Hale started the rock band with her brother, Arejay, in 1997.

Who's performing on the Froggy 107.7 free stage

Three entertainers will be performing on the free stage :

• 4:30 p.m.: Dezzie Renae
• 5:30 p.m.: Cody Ross Smith
• 6:30 p.m.: John Morgan

Pig racing, other free entertainment on the fairgrounds

The York State Fair has offered a variety of free entertainment on the grounds this year.

The Flying Cortes performs an acrobatic show. Magic On The Farm educates families about where food comes from and what plants need to grow, according to its website . And the Hot-Dog Pig Racing is always popular.
