Legendary Vazquez Family to bring Flip Circus to Yorktown

The circus is coming to town, Yorktown that is.

Flip Circus is coming to Yorktown from Aug. 9 to 20. The red and white circus tent will go up outside the Jefferson Valley Mall (650 Jefferson Blvd).

Tickets range from $30 to $85, the circus website said.

A product of the Vazquez Family's imagination, the circus has brought their performances to North and South America for 50 years, Flip's website says .

The Vazquez family brings a performing arts legacy with their big top tent to Westchester. Known across continents for their Mexico City-based Circo Hermanos Vasquez, Flip Circus was developed to provide a diverse and all-inclusive show that caters to an English-speaking audience, Stagelync reported in 2022.

"Years of experience has given us the ability to create a new and exciting show with a modern, yet vintage feel," Flip posted on their website.

See motorcycles inside of the "Globe of Steel", colorful clowns and other spectacles. Performances will be at 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. On Saturday, performances will be at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. On Sunday, they will be at noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday.
