Evacuation warnings in place due to wildfire in Madera County
A new wildfire burning in Madera County has prompted evacuation warnings.The fire broke out Tuesday on N. Fork Road near Circle J Ranch Road, east of O'Neals.As of 3 pm, CAL FIRE says the Circle Fire has burned 46 acres and is 30% contained.Evacuation warnings are in place for four zones after two orders were downgraded.You can see a map of the latest evacuation warnings by clicking here.No injuries have been reported at this time and no homes have been impacted.Residents are urged to visit MaderaAware for more information.This is a developing story. Northern California forecast: Scorching temperatures expected Tuesday, when relief could happen
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Tuesday is forecast to be an even hotter day for Northern California than Monday was. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said downtown Sacramento hit 107 degrees on Monday. High temperatures on Tuesday will peak from the 102-110-degree range, with downtown Sacramento expected to reach 109 degrees. The average for this time of year is 95 degrees.
