Jerold Wiggins, 44, was booked into the Mahoning County Jail on charges of possession of crack cocaine, a third-degree felony; possession of fentanyl, a fourth-degree felony; and possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony. Shantell Cato, 38, was booked into the jail on a charge of possession of fentanyl, a fifth-degree felony; and Chere Clinton, 36, was booked into the jail on a charge of possession of crack cocaine, a fifth-degree felony.

All three are expected to be arraigned Friday in municipal court.

The three were arrested at about 4:25 p.m. while officers served a search warrant at a 374 E. Avondale Ave. home.

Inside, reports said police found a bag of pills, a scale with suspected drug residue on it, a bag with fentanyl, crack cocaine, heroin and pills in the ceiling, another bag of cocaine in the ceiling and a pill bottle that had crack cocaine inside on Clinton.

Cato was charged because police found a bag of heroin on her, reports said.

Wiggins was charged because he matched the description of the person police said was selling drugs out of the house.
