(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – On the morning of July 12, 2024, at approximately 10:30 AM, officers from the First Platoon responded to a domestic violence call at a westside address in Jamestown, NY. Upon arrival, they encountered a disturbing scene involving a physical altercation between Nadine S. Glover, 22, and another female, witnessed by a 10-year-old child.
Traffic Stop on Barrett Ave Leads to Major Drug Bust
(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – A routine traffic stop in Jamestown uncovers over seven grams of crack cocaine, leading to a significant drug arrest. On the evening of July 13, 2024, at approximately 8:43 PM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon conducted a traffic stop near Barrett Avenue and the Barrett Avenue Ramp for observed traffic infractions. The driver, identified as 55-year-old Denise L. Pattyson, was pulled over and subsequently investigated by the officers.
Shocking Domestic Dispute in Jamestown: Man Arrested for Endangering Children
(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – In the early hours of July 10th, 2024, Shawn T. Mason, 41, of Jamestown, was arrested following a domestic dispute that escalated to criminal charges. Town of Ellicott police were dispatched to the scene at 3:02 AM, where Mason allegedly destroyed property in the presence of juveniles, leading to charges of fourth-degree criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child.

On July 16, 2024, at approximately 4:03 PM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon responded to a report of an alleged domestic dispute on the city’s north side. Upon arrival, officers identified 22-year-old Nylix J. Thomas as the alleged subject involved.
Jamestown Man Arrested on Narcotics Charges After Attempting to Conceal Fentanyl in City Jail
(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – A Jamestown man faces multiple charges after attempting to conceal fentanyl upon his arrest, further complicating his legal troubles. On the evening of July 5, 2024, officers from the Jamestown Police Department apprehended Dale R. Linkous, a 26-year-old resident of Jamestown, on the city’s West side. The officers, aware of Linkous’ active arrest paperwork from a prior incident, took him into custody at approximately 8:55 PM and transported him to the city jail.

Narcotics Probe in Buffalo Area Leads to Two Arrests, Including Jamestown Man
A Jamestown man is one of two suspects facing charges stemming from a multi-agency investigation into narcotics activity in the Buffalo area. Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael Keane says 43-year-old Lisandro Sanchez (left) was arraigned Tuesday morning on felony counts of 4th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence, plus misdemeanor counts of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, obstruction, and resisting arrest. Sanchez was arrested in Buffalo on Monday after investigators saw 27-year-old Dhakari Allen of Kenmore (right) allegedly conduct a narcotics transaction with Sanchez. Investigators saw a quantity of suspected narcotics, packaged for sale, was observed in plain view on the front seat of Allen's vehicle. Both Allen and Sanchez allegedly fought with officers while being placed under arrest. Allen was arraigned on two counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of 2nd-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, one count of 2nd-degree obstruction and one count of resisting arrest. Both suspects were released on their own recognizance because the charges are non-qualifying for bail. Sanchez faces up to 5 1/2 years in state prison if convicted of the highest charge, while Allen faces up to nine years behind bars.

Child Saved From Hot Car In The Nick Of Time

City man one of two people arrested for alleged drug trafficking in Buffalo... Two men -- one from Jamestown -- have been arrested in Buffalo for allegedly trafficking drugs after they were spotted making a narcotic drug transaction. Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael Keane says 27-year-old Dhakari Allen of Kenmore is charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance... two counts of second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia... one of second-degree obstruction... and, one count of resisting arrest. Police say Allen was the subject of an investigation... and, was seen Monday as he drove to a fast-food restaurant where he made the transaction with 43 year-old Lisandro Sanchez of Jamestown. When investigators approached the pair... they allegedly saw a quantity of suspected narcotics, packaged for sale, on the front seat of Allen’s vehicle. Both men allegedly fought with officers while being placed under arrest. Sanchez was allegedly found in possession of a quantity of crack-cocaine... and, suspected methaphetamine. He was arraigned on one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance... one of tampering with physical evidence... seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance... along with obstruction... and, resisting arrest. Both were released pending future court appearances.
