It will still be very hot when the WNBA All-Star Game tips off at 5:30 p.m. at Footprint Center.

Phoenix Rising FC (6-6-7) regained momentum in a dominant 2-0 win over El Paso Locomotive (3-3-13) Friday night at Phoenix Rising Stadium. The timely win is the first under interim head coach Diego Gomez, and it came in his first home appearance where the Rising have struggled to come away with three points.

On Friday night Phoenix Rising defeated El Paso Locomotive 2-0. Prior to tonight’s matchup, Phoenix Rising has struggled. They were embarrassed in a 5-1 loss to Memphis 901, and then lost 2-1 to San Antonio. They also fired head coach Danny Stone following the loss to Memphis 901, and Interim head coach Diego Gomez has stepped into the role.
