HANFORD, Calif. ( KSEE/KPGE ) – A mobile home park outside of Hanford caught fire Tuesday afternoon.

Both Hanford Fire Department and Kings County Fire Department responded to the scene close to the intersection of Houston Avenue and 10th Avenue.

The area that caught fire was about an acre in size, with a mix of grass, cars, and trailers being burnt up. Pictures from the scene show one travel trailer destroyed and the remnants of other burnt materials at the scene.

“Everybody who was around got evacuated immediately,” said Kings County Fire Department Battalion Chief Blake Adney. “To my knowledge, there is no other residents around. There were no injuries, we know that. And there were a few animals that didn’t make it, but the fire department was able to save several animals as well.”
