Menifee police seize drugs and firearms in coordinated raid
MENIFEE, California - A recent operation by the Menifee Police Department's Special Enforcement Team (SET) led to the seizure of drugs, firearms, and cash during a search warrant execution. The suspect was arrested on multiple charges, including narcotic sales and firearms violations.The operation, which took place at a residence in Menifee, resulted in the discovery of 78 grams of fentanyl, 4 grams of methamphetamines, firearms, and cash, according to the Menifee Police Department. Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) collected evidence, including thousands of rounds of ammunition.The Gang Impact Team (GIT), supervised by the Riverside County District Attorney's Office Bureau of Investigation, collaborated with SET for the operation. GIT is staffed by agents from various agencies, including the DA's Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), U.S. Marshal's Service (USMS), the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, and detectives from several local police departments.
