Indiana agency recommends 60% reduction in Duke Energy proposed rate increase
After hearing from consumers, a state agency is coming out in opposition to Duke Energy's proposed rate increases. The Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (OUCC) is recommending a 60% reduction in Duke Energy's request, including no increase to the monthly residential customer service charge and a reduction in Duke Energy's authorized return on equity.

Temporary Powers Hamburgers location at Electric Works now open
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A second temporary Powers Hamburgers location is now open. In late June, Powers Hamburgers Harrison Street location caught fire. While work is being completed to repair fire damage, Powers Hamburgers has been operating from a food truck next to its Harrison Street restaurant, open from 10 a.m. to at least 11 p.m. every day except Sunday.
