Teen arrested in connection to shooting near Weisser Park Elementary
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Fort Wayne police have arrested a 17-year-old in connection with a shooting near Weisser Park Elementary School. Police charged Anthony DeWayne-Allen Jackson with two counts of felony battery. He was originally charged as a juvenile. The shooting happened on May 20 on Drexel Avenue.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Firefighters in South Bend and across Indiana can now apply for the Indiana Firefighter PFAS Biomonitoring Pilot Program. The pilot program analyzes PFAs, also known as 'forever chemical' due to their longevity and toxicity, levels in firefighters' blood. The DNR Shooting Range Grant Program is accepting applications for the development of rifle, handgun, shotgun firing, and archery opportunities for public use. While growing up in southern Indiana, I always looked forward to trips to the shooting range.
