The Daily Show roasts Ohio State in favor of Michigan
Some things are bigger than politics and one of those things is the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry. And one Daily Show correspondent and host has chosen a side. At the Republican National Convention, Ohio senator J.D. Vance was named the vice presidential candidate, and though he’s from the Buckeye State and went to OSU, he made several overtures to Michigan throughout his acceptance speech. Millage supporting Ottawa County seniors up for renewal
OTTAWA COUNTY - A millage that funds programming for senior citizens in Tri-Cities - Grand Haven, Spring Lake, and Ferrysburg - is up for renewal on the Aug. 6 ballot. The North Ottawa County Council on Aging Millage renewal proposal requests 0.2500 mills ($0.2500 per $1,000 of taxable value) for 10-years, 2025 through 2034. The funding supports a large portion of the budget to operate the Grand Haven-based Four Pointes Center for Successful Aging that provides a variety of services and programming to seniors.
