Zimmerman American Legion to honor fallen

The Zimmerman American Legion, Kriesel-Jacobsen Post 560, will honor members who have died in the past year at a ceremony after touring several local cemeteries, U.S.S. Liberty Park and Kriesel Jacobson Post 560.

Tentative times are:

Bellwood.......................... 8:45 a.m.

St. Pius Catholic Cemetery.... 9:40 a.m.

Crown Cemetery.............. 10:20 a.m.

Livonia Cemetery............. 10:55 a.m.

U.S.S. Liberty Park........... 11:25 a.m.

Kriesel -Jacobsen Post 560.... Noon

The program will include introductions by Angela Moran, a prayer by Patty Lundgren, Claudia Wagner reading “In Flanders Field,” Judy Johnson’s reading of the war dead, the placement of poppies by Lundgren and Moran, music by Lande Holk, and closing prayer by Lundgren. The color guard will provide a rifle salute. Taps will be played.
