A new restaurant has opened in Huber Heights, Ohio

    2023-07-16

A new restaurant has come to the city of Huber Heights.

In case you missed it, earlier this year, the new restaurant El Quetzal opened its doors in Huber Heights. The restaurant offers Guatemalan cuisine. You can find El Quetzal at 5140 Brandt Pike.

At the new restaurant, you can find fried chicken wings, which come with buffalo sauce. In addition, you can get pollo dorado (which comes with breaded chicken, rice, salad, and tortillas) as well as steak fries, which in addition to grilled steak, are smothered in cheese sauce. The menu also includes empanadas, which are made with fresh corn masa, stuffed with shredded chicken, and covered with tomato sauce.

El Quetzal also offers pupusa, which is a flatbread that is made with corn masa flour and is filled with ground pork, fried beans, and shredded cheese before being topped with onion, carrot, cabbage, and tomato sauce.

The restaurant serves a variety of street tacos as well. The tacos are served on corn tortillas and come with cilantro, onions, and your choice of meat. Meat options include birria, chicken, steak, sausage, and beef tongue. They also offer tacos dorados, which are fried corn tortillas filled with shredded chicken, and topped with curtido (a lightly fermented cabbage slaw) and tomato sauce.

You can also get a burrito, which is stuffed with tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, and your choice of grilled chicken or steak. You can also get enchiladas, which are fried and topped with beans, shredded chicken, cabbage, carrots, onions, beets, and fresh cheese. The menu also has carne asada, which comes with fried plantain, green onions, fresh cheese, avocado, rice, and beans.

If you want something to drink, the restaurant offers horchata as well as other agua frescas like Jamaica, limonada, and mango.

So far, the new restaurant has received positive reviews from customers. Here is what a customer had to say about the new addition to Huber Heights in a Google review:

    Good food
    Fast service
    Best Spanish restaurant around Dayton

    Another customer wrote:

Exactly what you want from a taqueria, fresh tortillas made in house.

If you want to check out the new restaurant, you can find it at 5140 Brandt Pike, Huber Heights, OH 45424.

The new restaurant is open 7 days a week, Sunday to Thursday from 11 AM to 9 PM and Friday to Saturday from 11 AM to 10 PM.
