Frontier, Breeze, And American Airlines To Offer New Florida Flights, With Some Offerings At $29

It's getting incredibly hot and humid in the Sunshine State. Many "snowbirds" have already gone back up north, but those who haven't (and Floridians who like to travel) may have some new budget flight deals from which to choose, as follows:

Frontier Airlines' 100 Trips Under $30 Promotion: Frontier is celebrating its 30th birthday this year, so it's offering 100 trips under $30, which started June 27, 2024, and ends November 13, 2024. The Florida destinations included (and being offered for $29) are as follows:

Tampa to/from Atlanta

Tampa to/from Baltimore

Tampa to/from Cincinnati

Tampa to/from Raleigh

Orlando to/from Houston

Orlando to/from Indianapolis

Orlando to/from Charlotte

Miami to/from Charlotte

American Airlines: Beginning November 5, 2024, American Airlines will add a daily nonstop flight from the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport to New York City’s LaGuardia. As of this writing, American has not announced pricing.

Breeze: Starting October 18, 2024, Breeze will be offering a flight out of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to Tampa International Airport for $79.

Floridians are arguably fortunate to have access to several budget airlines that fly out of its smaller airports like St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport. Examples are Spirit, Frontier, Jet Blue, Allegiant, and Breeze.

Some Floridians prefer to avoid larger airports and as a result, its smaller airports are welcoming more travelers. Michael McCormick from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University told WESH:

"Security lines are much shorter, parking is much easier and generally much closer. And the airport and the terminal building are much easier to get around.”
