The Tennessee Vols are hoping to land 2025 five-star offensive tackle David Sanders Jr on Saturday (August 17) when the Charlotte native announces his commitment.

Sanders isn't the only top ranked offensive lineman that the Vols are hoping to land.

Tennessee is also one of the early contenders for 2026 five-star offensive lineman Immanuel Iheanacho.

Iheanacho, 6-foot-6/350 lbs from Baltimore, MD, is rated by On3 as the No. 1 offensive tackle in the 2026 recruiting class. He's also rated as the No. 3 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

Oregon is an early favorite for Iheanacho, but according to Rivals.com's Adam Gorney , Tennessee is one of several "early contenders" for the coveted offensive lineman.

Iheanacho was offered by the Vols earlier this spring.

"When Tennessee offered, I was surprised," said Iheanacho to Rivals' Vol Report earlier this year. "I mean, they're such a high program. I always take offers seriously, so for the coach to extend an offer, it meant a lot, knowing that they have faith in what they can do to develop me as a full, all-around offensive lineman. It means a lot."

This battle has a long way to go, so even though Tennessee isn't the headliner in this recruitment right now, it doesn't mean that they won't be a year from now when Iheanacho is likely making his decision. He's certainly a player to keep an eye on as the Vols look to continue their recruiting hot streak.
