Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks continue to bolster their strong start to the 2026 recruiting class , this time landing a 4-star offensive lineman and top-100 player with their newest addition – Kodi Greene, out of Mater Dei high school in Santa Ana, CA. With their latest commit, Oregon continues to flex their recruiting muscle in California.

Oregon lands 4-star 6'6" offensive lineman Kodi Greene

With their recent additions, On3 has pushed the Oregon Ducks to their No. 1 ranked recruiting class in the country for 2026, currently holding commitments from four players, all of whom are 4-star players. Yes, it's still very early, but the Ducks are off to a promising start to continue on their 2025 recruiting success .

Greene is a massive offensive lineman, already standing 6'6" 285 lbs with an 81" wingspan entering his junior year of high school. For reference, Taliese Fuaga, the recent offensive tackle out of Oregon State that was drafted 14th overall by the New Orleans Saints, had an official 80 5/8" wingspan at this year's NFL Combine. So, yeah, Greene is big.

Greene chose Oregon over Michigan, USC, and Washington as the Ducks continue to flex their recruiting muscle .

Greene specified that he thinks Oregon will be best for his development

Oregon was one of the first schools to get involved with Greene,

"I feel like the main thing is that they have five O-Line coaches, which I think is amazing for O-Line coaches. So, like, if [offensive line coach, A'lique Terry says something to me and I'm not understanding it, I can go to the other four O-Line coaches and they can describe it in a way that I can understand," Greene said with 247 Sports.

Greene also spoke with On3 about his commitment, crediting the relationships that he has with Terry and Dan Lanning.

"My connection with coach Dan Lanning and coach A’lique Terry was one of the keys to my decision. Who they are, the energy they have and how they have recruited me stood out to me," he said.

Back in July, Greene also made it clear that Oregon was out in front for his commitment, telling

Chad Simmons of On3 that "Oregon is the team to beat. They have made me feel like a priority from day one and have been in constant communication. I have built a genuine relationship with them and relationships are everything to me. Those things keep Oregon high on my list.”

Greene has a massive ceiling to go along with his massive frame, and if Oregon can hold onto this commitment through to the end of the 2025 recruiting cycle, he could become a program anchor on the offensive line.
