NASHVILLE - The Tennessee Titans had their second and final joint practice against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday before the preseason matchup between the two teams on Saturday.

While the Titans made it through the first joint practice with a list of cramping players and no real injuries of note, the same thing cannot be said about Day 2.

Here's the latest injury updates from Titans camp and an update on everything that happened during joint practices.

    Injury Updates

    - WR Kyle Philips left practice early with a hamstring injury. The severity of that injury remains unknown, but head coach Brian Callahan seemed to believe Philips could miss some time.

    - DT Keondre Coburn went in from practice early, which Callahan said was strictly precautionary.

    - TE Josh Whyle was also pulled form practice early. Whyle hit his head on the ground during 1-on-1s and was also taken in for precautionary reasons., There is no official designation on Whyle at this time, but this appeared to be good news all things considered.

    - DL Marlon Davidson suffered a bicep injury on Thursday. The severity of it is still unknown.

    - WR Bryce Oliver went in early from practice, but was apparently just overheating. He should be good to go for the preseason game on Saturday.

    - LB Kenneth Murray Jr. did not practice. He was held out by the Titans due to some hamstring tightness. Murray is not expected to play on Saturday.

    - The Titans are expected to not play any starters this weekend. QB Malik Willis will start the game at quarterback with the second-team offense.

    Levis and offense struggle

    - It was not a very strong day for the Titans offense on Thursday. During the first red zone 7-on-7 period of the day, Tennessee's offense cycled through 12 plays without scoring a touchdown. Will Levis was intercepted by Riq Wollen during that period.

    - Levis and the starting offense showed some positive flashes in the 11-on-11 drills in the red zone when Levis found Mason Kinsey for a back corner touchdown. It was Kinsey's second substantial catch of the period.

    - Practice ended with two-minute drills. 1:10 on the clock and one timeout while needing to go 60 yards for the score. It was supposed to be a great opportunity to go through end of game operations and offensive concepts...but the Titans' starting offense was only out there for one play. Levis was intercepted by Devon Witherspoon on the opening play.

    - Head coach Brian Callahan was not happy with how his offense looked. It was a missed opportunity for his group and Callahan told the media that he is going to be very honest with Levis and his offense when they go over the tape.

    Big Jeff dominates Seahawks OL

    - On the brighter side, DT Jeffery Simmons was a dominant force for the Titans going against the Seahawks' offensive line. During 1-on-1s in the trenches, Simmons picked up and tossed Laken Tomlinson before sacking the quarterback. It was wildly impressive and helped set the tone for Tennessee's defense.

    - Geno Smith and DK Metcalf hooked up for a deep shot on the first play of the day. It was a busted coverage by CB Jarvis Brownlee Jr. and S Quandre Diggs.

    - After that play, the Titans defense settled in nicely. They did not give up any other explosive or chunk plays to Seahawks wide receivers.

    - UDFA rookie S Keaton Ellis flashed in practice today. He made a series of impressive tackles working in with the second team. One of those plays was a TFL on Kenneth Walker, who is an elusive back.

    - Thanks to Kenneth Murray Jr. missing practice, LB Otis Reese IV got to work in with the starters on Thursday. Reese made a great play against the run at one point in practice and earned the loud praise of Jamal Adams.

    - Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs spent a lot of time talking trash to their former teammates. Diggs and Adams continue to bring the energy and intensity to Titans practices and are hoping that energy translates into the culture in the DB room.
