Former Tennessee Vols player makes big statement about his new situation after transferring earlier in offseason

Former Tennessee Vols offensive lineman Addison Nichols is a big fan of the situation he stepped into with the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Nichols, a former four-star recruit who spent the first two seasons of his college career at Tennessee, transferred to Arkansas earlier this offseason.
The Georgia native told reporters this past week that he's never been a part of a group that's as close as the Razorbacks' offensive line.
"The cohesion itself, or at least the offensive line chemistry in the room is something I've never been a part of before," said Nichols . "I haven't been a part of a group this tight and this close ever -- in really any sport that I've ever played. I think that we have one of the best chemistry rooms in the country. We all get along. We all do everything together. And that really helps when we're playing ball. And it helps with the depth as well because we trust each."
Nichols said earlier this offseason that he left Tennessee because he "needed more", though he also praised Vols head coach Josh Heupel for being a "great guy".
“Coach Heupel is a great guy, a great coach and has a great program,” said Nichols in January . “Couldn’t say a bad thing about him. Definitely learned a lot through my time there, but at the end of the day, I just didn’t see myself hitting my full potential in the room I was in."
“Like I said, nothing bad to say about the program at Tennessee," added Nichols. "There’s some great people, Coach Heupel does a tremendous job with the program and culture. I learned a lot about football and being a man during my time there. It’s just one of those things where, looking forward, I needed more.”
Nichols will have a chance to reconnect with Heupel and his former Vols teammates on October 5 when Tennessee visits Fayetteville for a mid-season showdown with the Razorbacks.
