The Indianapolis Colts 2024 roster received a harsh review ahead of the NFL regular season

The Indianapolis Colts are a peculiar team heading into the 2024 NFL season.

Some project them to take a massive step forward as a team, while others project a disappointing season ahead.

It looks like EA Sports has chosen the second option, with the team's rating in Madden 25 ranking them in the bottom half of the league.

The Colts start the year with an 82 overall rating in EA Sports' Madden 25 video game. This ranks them in the bottom half of the NFL, with just nine teams with a worse rating. They are tied for the fifth-lowest rating in the AFC, with the only teams below them being the Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, and Denver Broncos.

On the bright side, they are tied with the Jacksonville Jaguars for the second-highest rating in the AFC South, ahead of the Titans, who only earned an 80. But both are well behind the Houston Texans, who received an 86 overall, ranking them as a top 10 team in the NFL.

While this low rating may infuriate some Colts fans, it's important to remember that it's not how you start that matters but how you finish. But considering that the Colts were a completed fourth-down conversion away from beating the Texans and winning the AFC South, this rating seems a bit harsh, especially when the Colts ended the year with nine wins after losing starting QB Anthony Richardson after just four games.

We already know that linebacker and captain Zaire Franklin isn't happy with Madden over his rating . And in my opinion, multiple other players also came in far too low. Hopefully, this info can be used as bulletin board material for the Colts in 2024. The Colts will likely not be easy to use if you are an online Madden player. But it's more fun to have a challenge when playing video games anyway.
