Welcomed news is in order for the Cleveland Browns to start the week with two key players set to come back from injury.

The Browns are bringing both offensive tackles Jack Conklin and Jedrick Wills Jr. off of the Physically Unable to Perform List right away. Cleveland won’t have Wills practicing tomorrow, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski. It appears that Conklin will be back at practice.

This is a big development for the Browns, who are now getting two offensive tackles back and it was badly needed . Dawand Jones was the only starting tackle to get reps in the preseason. Both Wills and Conklin are returning from serious knee injuries. Conklin was lost to an ACL injury in the very first game last season against the Cincinnati Bengals. Additionally, cornerback Greg Newsome II, defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson, and safety D’Anthony Bell is coming off of the PUP as well.

Right now, it would be fair to expect Wills to start at left tackle and Jones at right tackle. Conklin very well could be the swing tackle but Stefanski was not ready to elaborate on that.

“With really all of our positions, we're not gonna set a depth chart,” Stefanski said Monday morning. “We'll just work through all those types of things. I'm excited to get Jack back out there practicing and going through walkthroughs and that type of thing. We're not going to get into specifics, per se.”

Cleveland is keeping running back Nick Chubb on the PUP to start the season, so he is going to be forced to miss a few games . He and running back Nyhiem Hines are not ready to practice just yet.

Heading into roster cuts, the Browns are getting some key players back that they did not have through the preseason. There should be nothing but smiles in Cleveland today.
