The Kansas City Chiefs started their quest for the three-peat on Thursday night, with a primetime game against the Baltimore Ravens. Meanwhile, while the Chiefs are moving on to the next one after a close, hard-fought, humble win, the Ravens can't seem to stop trash-talking the Chiefs after they lost. But, that's neither here nor there.

The game was much closer than it had to be, and that can be said both ways. Both teams made mistakes, and costly ones at that. It's Week 1, and that's going to happen. These are two very good teams that may meet again in January. So, you take any win you can get.

They say in the NFL, it's a game of inches, and, well, they are right. We literally saw that in Kansas City on Thursday night, as the Ravens were a toenail away from potentially tying the game or even winning. you could also say they still would have lost if they missed the two-point conversion, but, hey, it's whatever.

No matter what you think or believe after a win like this, the way the two teams are so different is hilarious. The Chiefs will go to the press conference after the game, talk about how bad they were, praise their opponent that they beat, and move on to next week. The Ravens will swear they are still the better team, talk trash about the Chiefs, and even threaten players .

That's one thing, but the funniest part about it all is the social media side of things. We all thought, initially before the replay, that Isaiah, the Ravens' tight end, likely caught the ball in bounds. And, so did the Ravens' Twitter account, as the admin posted the video quickly, and captioned it as if they won the Super Bowl.

"TOUCHDOWN OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tune in on NBC!," the caption read.

Underneath that was something that made it all just that much funnier. There are community notes on Twitter mow, where if a post is false or engagement farming, they will correct it underneath the post.

This community note said, "No, it wasn't."

Because, well, it wasn't. It doesn't get much funier than that. The game was an awesome one to start the season off with. We are left with some answers and questions still for the Chiefs, and those will soon be figured out in this long 2024 season. But, hey, now we know that Xavier Worthy is the real deal after two touchdowns.
