2025 five-star defensive lineman Elijah Griffin, one of the Georgia Bulldogs' top remaining recruiting targets, threw some under-the-radar shade at the Clemson Tigers this week.

Griffin, 6-foot-5/285 lbs from Savannah, GA, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 defensive lineman in the nation and the No. 1 player in the state of Georgia.

The coveted recruit was in Atlanta last weekend for the Bulldogs' 34-3 win against Clemson.

Griffin told On3 that it looked like Clemson "didn't want to be there anymore" in the second half against Georgia.

“It was a good game at first," said Griffin. "I was scared a little, then I am not sure what happened to Clemson, Georgia took over in the second half. It was like Clemson didn’t want to be there anymore ."

Ouch. That's gotta be tough to hear if you're a Clemson fan (or if you're Dabo Swinney).

One of the worst things you can say about a team is that it looked like they didn't want to be there. That's something that suggests there's a culture problem. Even though Georgia was cruising in the second half, you'd still expect to see Clemson playing like the scoreboard read 0-0.

It feels like Clemson's downfall is nearly complete. It's almost impossible to imagine Dabo making Clemson a championship contender again at this point.
