ABBEVILLE, La. ( KLFY )– A man and woman from Abbeville were arrested in connection with a homicide that happened on Monday, July 8, around 9:51 p.m.

Carlton Hills, 57, will be charged with with 2 ^nd degree murder and obstruction of justice; other charges are expected. Laticia Lewis, 42, is being charged with principal to 2 ^nd degree murder.

The victim has yet to be named. The Abbeville Police Department and Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating the homicide.

This is an ongoing investigation.
