After arriving, officers found the front door of the store had been pried open and that an ATM had been stolen, police said.

Police said a black SUV may have been used by the suspects in the burglary.

At about 5:20 a.m. Tuesday, police said a group of four male suspects smashed the window of a business in the 4400-block of South Cottage Grove, police said.

Police said the suspects entered, used a chain to remove the ATM and fled in a black SUV, possibly a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

No one is in custody in connection with either burglary. Police have not said if the burglaries are related and Area One detectives are investigating.
