    Unknown suspect cashes more than $10,000 in stolen checks

    MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The Midland Police Department and Crime Stoppers are looking to identify a fraud suspect.

    According to Crime Stoppers, during the month of August, the suspect entered banks in Midland, Odessa, and Big Spring, where she presented a stolen driver’s license and cashed several stolen checks, totaling more than $10 thousand. The individual reportedly has also committed crimes in San Angelo and Lubbock.
