“Across the state, most UDOT projects will suspend construction and open all lanes to traffic to help reduce delays over the holiday weekend, but certain existing lane restrictions or traffic shifts will remain in place as needed to protect the work zone and ensure safety,” John Gleason of UDOT said in a press release.

UDOT says in the release that lane restrictions will exist in the following locations:

replace the bridge deck. Expect delays due to change in traffic configuration.

Bangerter Highway : Work will pause from Friday at noon through the holiday weekend but
current lane restrictions will remain in place to protect the work zones for the new interchanges at 9800 South, 13400 South, 2700 West and 4700 South.

They also urge drivers to keep in touch with UDOT with the UDOT traffic app as this can change over time.
