    SUNY Potsdam’s Crane Opera Ensemble Presents ‘Les Mis(ish)’

    POTSDAM, N.Y. (WWTI) – SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music’s award-winning Crane Opera Ensemble will present “Les Mis(ish),” an original jukebox musical featuring showtunes from more than 100 years’ worth of musical theatre.

    The production will be performed on Friday and Saturday, March 22 and 23, at 7:30 p.m., with a final matinee on Sunday, March 24 at 3 p.m. All performances will take place at the Performing Arts Center’s Proscenium Theater.

    This family-friendly production is set backstage at a “Les Misérables” performance, the drama of “Les Mis(ish)” explores themes of identity, perseverance and more. From Gilbert and Sullivan tunes, to shows currently on Broadway, the variety has something for everyone, as the audience joins in on the backstage drama.

    The performance runs about 1 hour and 20 minutes, with no intermission. Admission is free and no tickets are required. Attendees are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes before the curtain goes up, as seating is first come, first served.
