    Aberdeen to celebrate Independence Day in style

    July 3

    10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Free children's events

    10 a.m. - noon Fish on shore or boat at Mina Lake. Free rods, tackle and bait.

    Free lunch, face painting, games, swimming and prizes.

    6-8 p.m. Free bingo at Wakeside Lawn

    9 p.m. - 1 a.m. "Lizzy Hofer Band"

    9:45 p.m. Fireworks at Edwards Preserve Point on Richmond Lake

    7 p.m. Storybook Land Theatre at the Castle at Wylie Park

    8:30 p.m. Aberdeen Municipal Band

    4 - 6 p.m. "Barstool Prophets" at The Crossing
