Cleveland Cavaliers will play division rivals in 4-game preseason schedule

The Cavs have set their schedule for the upcoming NBA preseason.

Northeast Ohio fans could be treated to a sports smorgasbord as once the Cavs get back on the hardcourt the potential that the three Cleveland pro teams will be playing is a real possibility.

The first two preseason games for the Cavs are at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, with the two ensuing games serving as road trips. The regular season schedule and ticket opportunities will be announced later.

The Cavs will begin play under new head coach Kenny Atkinson this year and go into the upcoming season having extended core players Jarrett Allen , Evan Mobley and Donovan Mitchell with an eye on extended their run into the NBA’s Eastern Conference playoffs.

• Oct. 8             CHICAGO           7:00 p.m.
• Oct. 10           INDIANA             7:00 p.m.
• Oct. 16           at Detroit            7:00 p.m.
• Oct. 18           at Chicago         8:00 p.m.
